Sweetbriar Nature Center

Sweetbriar Nature Center provides natural science education for visitors of all ages. Groups can explore the varied gardens, woodlands, field, and wetland habitats on the Nissequogue River, discover hundreds of species of plants and animals, and visit a butterfly house. Visitors can explore the nature preserve, trek through a mock rainforest, go on a dinosaur scavenger hunt, examine feathers, look at butterflies under a microscope, meet live birds of prey, and much more.
