Golden Earthworm Organic Farm

Learn how this farm grows its healthy, USDA-organic produce with a walking tour. As students and scouts walk through the farm fields, they will get to learn about the farm’s practices by harvesting, planting, and tasting. Depending on grade level, they might learn about plant anatomy and identification, seasonality, sustainable growing, and more. Tours can also be designed to cover other topics and group interests, such as greenhouse production, cooking, and what it’s like to work on a CSA farm. Picnic space for brown-bag lunch is available.
