Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park

 
Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park includes an arboretum spanning over 400 acres, as well as Coe Hall, the ornate, sprawling Gold Coast estate of insurance magnate William Robertson Coe. School and youth groups can engage in hands on learning with the arboretum’s experienced Environmental Educators, who curate age-specific tours of the grounds and the main greenhouse.

SCHOOLS            
For a small fee of $7.00 per student, school children can visit for one of our science/nature based field trips. Field trip topics include “Playing with Plants”, “Radiant Rainforest”, “FALLing into Leaves”, and “Tremendous Trees”. All information presented during the trips support school curricula and consist of games and activities that entice students to participate and have fun while they are learning.
