The Delaware Contemporary

This museum is focused on the growth and understanding of contemporary art, using rotating exhibits from resident artists. Tours are based on current exhibitions and include an option to visit one of the 26 current artists’ studios and hear them talk about their work. Sketch in the galleries or go on a scavenger hunt, while learning thematic, design, and medium-based concepts about the exhibits at the museum. Past exhibits have focused on printmaking and other alternative techniques. Groups can schedule a 1-hour art-making workshop to follow the tour, led by one of the teaching artists.
