University of Delaware Botanic Gardens

Groups can explore plant biology, botany, landscape design, ornamental horticulture, and even entomology. Guided tours walk through the grounds to the many greenhouses, garden areas, and scenic pathways. On the tour, groups will experience the diverse and dynamic living plant collection, which includes more than 3,000 species of perennials, shrubs, and trees.  The botanic gardens are an opportunity for groups to appreciate nature and biodiversity, while also learning about the role plants have in interdisciplinary sciences, culture, and design, as well as landscapes and ecosystems that are sustainable and aesthetically appealing.
