Delaware Shakespeare Festival

The works of William Shakespeare are made fun and engaging for all at this festival. Each summer, the festival performs a different play in Rockland Park. Before the show, actors from the production offer insight into the background, thematic explanation, and historical contexts for Shakespeare’s writing and the play. Wandering bards engage groups with Shakespeare’s work through sonnets and interactive games. Bring your own chairs and blankets to picnic on the grounds. During the school year, teachers can book an interactive seminar for the classroom, which engages students with the history of Shakespeare and his storytelling using games and activities.
