Downtown Aquarium

Take a guided or self-guided excursion through the Downtown Aquarium in Houston or Kemah, Texas. An attraction and group-friendly restaurant, Downtown Aquarium features touch pools, shark tanks, games, rides, and interactive exhibits. Groups can go behind-the-scenes to see how exhibits are maintained and learn about aquarium careers. Groups will also have the chance to see the Interactive Diver Show, which allows groups to talk to a diver as he or she is swimming with sea life in a 25,000-gallon exhibit. Educational programs focus on topics such as fish anatomy, animal movement, carnivores, reptile, squid anatomy, and more. The Houston location also features fun rides and carnival-style games.
