Air Classics Museum of Aviation

Stimulate an interest in our nation's history with a visit to the Air Classics Museum! Hands-on activities and educational tours give groups a real feel for the critical role of military and civil aviation in history. The museum features indoor and outdoor displays of aircraft, equipment, and memorabilia from the 1930s to the present, including iconic World War II vintage fighters, such as the P-40 Warhawk, the P-47 Thunderbolt and the P-51 Mustang. Also on display are a Vietnam-era UH-1H "Huey” helicopter and an A-7E Corsair II that flew in the Gulf War. Indoor exhibits include aircraft engines, equipment, military uniforms, mementos, and model airplanes, as well as special exhibits honoring local veterans.
