The Discovery Program at Camp Allen provides experiential learning to help students learn about social studies, science, and teamwork. Programs can range from six-hour day trips to four-day programs. Developing outdoor living skill with orienteering activities, and learn about Native Americans and take part in the Texas Living History experience. Environmental studies include forest ecology, herpetology, farming, and much more. At night, groups can take hikes, or hang out around the campfire. Groups will get to know each other better as they rely on each other during games and activities.
