YMCA Camp Carter

Spend the day outside at YMCA Camp Carter, where students and scouts can learn about exciting science and social studies concepts while building teamwork and leadership skills. Learn about the basic needs of survival, orienteering with a compass, or roleplay as herbivores, omnivores, and carnivores to understand life in the wild. Learn to work with horses safely, and learn about life as a pioneer 200 years ago. Aquatic studies occur in the 10-acre Cottonwood Lake, or learn the geological history of the area. Other activities include archery, canoeing, and challenge courses.
