Fox Chase Farm

Originally a land grant from William Penn to Lord Stanley, this farm has belonged to different families through the years before becoming an educational farm. Learn about the mechanics of a working farm, agriculture, and the interdependence of all living things. A sugaring program is also available to children 4th grade and up. They can learn about the entire sugaring process, from tapping a tree to the production of syrup and candy. They’ll see how to properly tap a tree, visit the fireplace where the sap is boiled, and get to try syrup candy during lunch.
