Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

The Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame honors the men and women who have shown excellence in rodeo and the western lifestyle in Texas. Built in 1912, the barns accommodate exhibits such as horse-drawn vehicles, the story of cattle drives, and even the American Paint Horse. The Sterquell Wagon Collection features over 60 lifestyle wagons, for work and play and in the city and on the farm. During their visit, school and scout groups will be asked to put themselves in the role of a pioneer in a covered wagon. They can also learn about how Cowboys packed for a trail drive, the importance of branding livestock, and the in's and out's of a packed Chuckwagon.
