Meadows Museum

The Meadows Museum collection of Spanish artwork encompasses works by Spanish artists from the Renaissance and Baroque period to modern times. Paintings by Velázquez, Goya, Picasso are among the museum’s holdings. Other items on display include prints, the Sculpture Garden, and works from the University Art Collection of SMU. Investigate the faces of Spain through portraiture, sculptures, and have an activity in which students create their own 3D work. Groups learning the Spanish language can have a Spanish-speaking tour, adapted to all language levels, that also emphasizes learning about Spanish culture.
