Masonville Cove

What began as the restoration of an abandoned and neglected parcel of land in the Middle Branch has become something very special. Masonville Cove is 70 acres of water and 54 acres of cleaned-up wetlands, nature trails, and a protected bird sanctuary that hosts field trips for student and scout groups. Through active participation and discussion, learners will step into the role of a scientist and conduct exciting experiments in topics like plants, bioscience, and watersheds. Science will come to life in the Cove’s living classroom as they play games, work on projects, and take part in activities.
