Opened to the public in 1927, The Genesee Theatre provides the community with a variety of fun performing arts experiences each year. Located in what is known as the most lavish building in Waukegan, Illinois, the theater features a large performance stage and state of the art technology. Groups can enjoy tours and a variety of school shows on a visit to The Genesee Theatre. School shows include The Magic of the Nutcracker, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and more. Inquire about financial assistance for field trip transportation.
