Farmer Stan's Agriculture Farm Tours

Farmer Stan and Farmer Dwayne have decades of experience farming and teaching school-age children all about agriculture. Groups can take one of two tours, spring or summer. During the spring, groups will identify 10 to 15 plants, learn about where food comes from, and visit the honeybees and farm animals. They will each plant a 10” veggie garden clock, complete with a tomato transplant for arms. During the fall, they will visit a demonstration plot to learn about farming techniques, as well as corn shelling and a maze! Learners leave with a box of samples, including honey and pumpkins.
