Sandler Center for the Performing Arts

Opened in 2007, the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts is one of the most acoustically sound venues in the United States. Groups can enjoy morning student matinee performances that aim to enhance the Virginia Standards of learning. Shows for the 2015-2016 season include The Nutcracker performed by the Ballet Virginia International, Three Little Birds, The Monster Who Ate My Peas, Bing! Bang! Boom! Science Show, and more. The second and third floor common areas of the performing arts center is home to the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts Gallery where groups can view fine art created by artists in Virginia.
