Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum

Enjoy a fun day filled with Colonial American history at the Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum. Groups can tour four 18th-century colonial houses—the Silas Deane House, Buttolph-Williams House, Isaac Stevens House, and Joseph Webb House where they will marvel at colonial architecture and furnishings. Programs at the museum allow groups to learn about colonial cooking, textiles, medicine, Elizabeth George Speare’s novel The Witch of Blackbird Pond, and more. Activities include hosting a tea party, examining early textiles, playing traditional West African games, trying early American crafts, and more. Groups can also visit the Colonial Revival Garden where they will find plants that existed in the Colonial era.
