Wilmington Water Tours

Learn in a beautiful outdoor classroom on an eco-history cruise with Wilmington Water Tours. Programs can be customized to fit scout badge requirements or classroom lesson plans. Groups will see unspoiled nature and a variety of wildlife, like osprey, alligators, sea turtles, and river otters. Learn about maritime topics, like North Carolina pirates, shipbuilding, and blockade running. A Wilmington Water Tour is an ideal place to learn about local history dating back to the colonies. The northeastern Cape Fear River looks much like it did in the 1600s, and tours in this area will see Castle Hayne Aquifer and the bluffs of the Rose Hill Plantation.
