Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours

Students and scouts can learn all about the unique ecosystems of southeastern North Carolina on an environmental education boat tour with Wrightsville Beach Scenic Tours. Identify carnivorous swamps at the Green Swamp, discover black water Cyprus at Town Creek, and look for shorebird ecosystems at Masonboro and Hutaff Islands. Study coastal plants, tidal creek water quality, and collect seashells and coastal marine invertebrate at the Cape Fear Local Barrier Islands. The goal of the program is to raise local conservation awareness about these sensitive habitats and wildlife that occur right in North Carolina.
