Discovery Place KIDS

These children’s museums encourage interactive learning through play. Children will explore areas highlighting imagination, exercise, work and building, and much more. Sit in a real fire truck, climb through a coral reef, and visit the Learning Garden, where balance, weather, gardening, and soil are emphasized. As part of their trip, students can have a lab class, and explore the characteristics of ecosystems, learn about hot and cold, build a circuit, solve problems with simple machines, or learn about animals with a live encounter. Older learners can enjoy activities such as weather experiments, force and motion, and even robotics. Homeschool workshops available.
