Apple Hill Orchard Cider Mil

Student and scout groups can visit in the autumn for a fun adventure. Tours at the orchard focus on how apples are grown, with an interactive lesson focused on planting, harvesting, and topics perfect for the classroom. Groups will take a wagon ride around the orchard and see the apple storage room and the Cider Mill. They can see apples being sorted on the grading line, and also learn about bees and honey production. After the tour, they’ll get to bring home a quarter peck of apples (already harvested), and enjoy a picnic lunch.
