Forest in the Park, Mt. Tom’s Bray Lake

Take in the breathtaking views of the Connecticut Valley, Berkshire mountains, and Pelham hills on a hike of Mount Tom’s 22 miles of trails. Groups can enjoy a variety of recreational activities on the 2,161-acre land such as fishing, bird watching, ice-skating in January and February (weather depending), and more. Wildlife sightings include deer, chipmunks, beavers, and the occasional bear. Educational programs for groups focus on topics such as geology, forest ecosystems, ecology, adaptations, valley geohistory, and decomposition.
