Barnstable Harbor Ecotours

All aboard The Horseshoe Crab, a spacious 25-seat pontoon boat that will take student and scout groups through the quiet and majestic Barnstable Harbor on an exciting and educational eco tour! On-board naturalists will be ready to point out and explain any wildlife encountered, and groups are sure to learn a lot about the glacial history of the area, flora and fauna of salt marshes and their importance, and make a close pass by Sandy Neck Cottage Colony and restored lighthouse. Groups will learn about the aquaculture industry, Native American and colonial history, and prohibition-era rum-running that took place in the area.
