Chrysler Museum of Art

The Chrysler Museum is home to art from the ancient, medieval and Renaissance, and modern periods. Despite its small size, it has over 50 galleries - featuring everything from pottery, sculpture, and glass to photography, 18th-20th century paintings, and contemporary art. During their tour, groups can explore ancient cultures, mythology in art, American art and history, and the visual elements of art. A unique interdisciplinary program, the History and Science of Glass, explores works of glass in the collection including the art, history, and technology behind them. Glass studio demonstrations are also available, and can be combined with the tour.
