Museum of the White Mountains

The Museum of the White Mountains preserves and promotes the history, culture, and environmental legacy of the region through exhibitions available for students and scouts to tour. Educational resources can be found on the museum’s website to help teachers and scout leaders enrich the tour experience. Groups can study how different types of rocks create different climbing experiences, they can investigate the stories from 19th century people who visited the mountains, and write about their own unchartered adventures that they would like to embark on. Look at preservation efforts over the years, art that was inspired by the mountains, and more.
