Millyard Museum

The Millyard Museum’s rich permanent exhibit explores thousands of years of history. See artifacts from the time of the Paleo-Indians, an 1871 fire engine, and even displays of local art. Learn the story of the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, and how it turned Manchester into the largest planed city in New England. Hear stories about innovative businesses and important people from Manchester; and about the city in its heyday. School groups can schedule a guided tour of one of the galleries, and even go on a historic walking tour of the Amoskeag Millyard to learn more about the city’s heritage.
