Castle in the Clouds

Groups will briefly leave the 21st century to step back into the early 1900s country estate known as the Castle in the Clouds. Built by a successful shoe manufacturer, groups will tour the mansion that is decorated to appear as though the occupants have just stepped out. Tour the Lucknow Estate, mansion, carriage house, and art gallery. Inside the mansion, learners will enjoy letter writing in Olive’s bedroom, or experiencing life in a 1920’s kitchen. Vibrant and memorable lessons and hands-on activities are available focusing on topics such as technology, people and places, 1920’s history, arts & crafts, and architecture. Luncheons are also available.
