The nature center is the perfect place to enrich your group’s science curriculum and complete scout badges in environmental science. Groups can walk on the trails, explore the only known cave in the city of Aurora, and take a Sense the Seasons nature tour. Educational programs for schools focus on topics in biology, ecology, and more. Activities at Red Oak Nature Center include the Fall Color Hike scavenger hunt, hiking through the woods, helping the staff collect the sap from a maple tree (February and March only), and investigating the mysteries of seasonal change.
