Group visits of 10 or more visitors can be scheduled at the Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum. Students ages 7 and younger can engage in imaginative play while exploring the exhibits. Groups should arrive at 10AM for a brief orientation. Visits last 2 hours. Lunch space can be provided.

The Mount Washington Valley Children's Museum provides opportunities for children and their care givers to learn through play, incorporating exploration, creativity and imagination. The Museum features themed playrooms where young visitors can dress up, pretend, and climb; explore a jungle, castle, or underwater world; and more. Giant rocking horses, oversized bulldozers, and a variety of games and toys throughout each area provide plenty of activity.

The first children’s museum in the world was the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, founded in 1899. Hundreds of children’s museums have opened in the United States since then.
