Woosley Farm

Rediscover history at this 100-year old farm, where animals are raised and crops grown the way they were over a century ago. Groups can visit the farmhouse and the vegetable garden, noting how farm life has changed over time with the addition of water, heating, and electricity. They can feed and pet the animals, learn about soil and plant development, and also see how food was preserved in the early 1900s. The Walk Back in Time tour lets older students explore the backwoods, learning about colonization, past and present land use, and changes in farming equipment, period hunting, and survival skills.
