Heifer Farm

Heifer Farm is part of Heifer International, an organization dedicated to improving millions of lives around the world. Educational programs are an important part of their mission. Groups can take a guided tour around the farm, experience sustainable agriculture practices, and explore gardens, livestock areas, and the Global Village. Students and scouts can learn about the benefits of animals as they spin wool, collect eggs, milk a goat, and more. Overnight programs are available, where groups can take part in service learning activities, as well as learn to prepare a meal with limited resources.
