Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) PA Location

Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) offers many opportunities for students to get outside and learn about the wonders of the Bay region. Traveling by canoe on local creeks, rivers, and lakes, students will investigate the ecology, history, and geography of the Susquehanna watershed and the Chesapeake Bay. They can participate in activities such as paddling, seining, testing water quality, mapping, and more. Concepts emphasized during the trip may include river and lake food chains, fishery management, agriculture, conservation, geography, pollution, ecology, construction and development, and more. CBF provides engaging pre- and post-visit investigations for school groups.
