Peoria Playhouse Children’s Museum

The Peoria Playhouse Children’s Museum offers a fun place for learners to exit the classroom and conduct “field work.” Groups are presented with unfamiliar objects, and will be encouraged to play and share their experiments and questions. They will rotate through the galleries, where they can explore a town replica, play at the water table, make a construction project, sculpt with sand, conduct science experiments, and more. Learners can select an area of interest and be given a special challenge: such as building in the Real Tools area, or making a boat out of recycled materials at the water table.
