Peoria Riverfront Museum

Explore exhibits on international art, folk art, sculpture, ethnographic and outsider art, and even natural science at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. During their trip to the museum, students and scouts might learn about pioneer life in Illinois, make their own recycled paper and origami, or learn about Mississippian culture through natural history exhibits. The museum also has a dome planetarium, which offers films on weather, space, history, world cultures, and even Van Gogh. Scout groups can attend one of the monthly scout workshops or request an education kit, which includes exhibit replicas and activity guides for different subjects.
