Southern Illinois University Museum

With woodcarving, American stoneware, tools and decorative objects, artifacts from China and Nepal, religious items, and other artifacts coming together in an encyclopedic collection, this museum brings together art and history. Programs center around activities like drawing and crafts, connecting groups with the practical and cultural role of the art in the museum. Every spring, the museum hosts a 2-day Art Education Festival, with performances, workshops, and activities, including arts and crafts, history, and theater.
