Student Conservation Association (SCA)

The Student Conservation Association (SCA) strives to inspire environmental stewardship by involving groups in hands-on service learning projects. For groups still in high school, service-learning projects include building trails, helping to restore parks, working to conserve vital habitats, and more. For older learners, service-learning programs such as monitoring sea turtle nests and helping to maintain refuge facilities are completed as internships alongside professionals. Group members 21 and up can also apply to become field leaders that lead conservation service projects. Some service learning projects offer a stipend.
