Illinois Amish Museum

Immerse your students and scouts in authentic history with a visit to the Amish Museum. After watching an 18-minute video, groups can see permanent exhibits about Anabaptist history, Amish history, buggies, quilting, barns, homes, and technology. Museum staff are happy to answer questions about the Amish culture and community that surrounds them. Through the museum’s main office, groups can schedule a horse-drawn wagon tour and visit one of the historic Amish farms. Groups can also schedule tours of nearby Amish homes, woodworking shops, and even have a meal in an authentic Amish home.
