Seabrook Village

Experience an authentic portrayal of African American history and culture from 1865 through 1930 at Seabrook Village. Embark on a fully interactive tour led by costumed interpreters to truly experience the days of makin’ do and the ingenuity it took to make life better. Groups may take part in corn grinding and butter churning activities, as well as take a hay ride, to experience life in the past, reconnect with nature, and to understand how hard people had to work before modern conveniences.  Buildings making up Seabrook Village include the one-room school, the depot, and farms.
