Oatland Island Wildlife Center of Savannah

Visit the Wolf Wilderness, Predators of Georgia, and Birds of Prey at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center of Savannah. Groups will enjoy exploring animal exhibits, gardens, and greenhouses during scientific programming, including the circle of life, salt march, forests, and freshwater habitats, biodiversity, and more. Learn to use a compass and read a map to discover hidden treasure on the grounds! Older learners will be able to explore fields such as chemistry, physics, zoology, and geology in a hands-on, exciting way at the zoo. History programming is also available in 2 log cabins from the 1800s, where groups may try their hands at candle making, hearth cooking, and more.
