Morris Museum of Art

The Morris Museum of Art is the first museum dedicated to preserving art and artists of the south. Home to a collection of over 5,000 paintings, photographs, sculptures, and more, groups are sure to be amazed as they take part in interdisciplinary programs relating to visual art and beyond. Learn about the story of cotton in the museum, and on a boat ride at the Augusta Canal National Heritage Site. Explore the museum and discover math concepts, study African American art, or learn basic art concepts with hands-on props. Art projects to complement programs are also available, such as clay relief sculpture, and mixed media weaving.
