Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry

This museum's exciting, sensory exhibits will fill learners’ imaginations with new discoveries. They can embark on a quest, explore secret passageways, and learn historical facts in the Medieval Creativity Castle. The Kids’ Garden, filled with edible plants, will teach them botany while they pump water from the well, chase butterflies, and look for gems in the pond. Other fun things to do include climbing aboard the pirate ship, playing with the water table, the fire truck, art room, and an exhibit about jazz. Schedule a field trip for additional activities, such as learning about light and shadows, the water cycle, and building models.
