Coastal Georgia Botanical Garden

Students and scouts will get a well-rounded experience out of the Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens. Most programs begin in the classroom and end with a guided tour of the gardens. Take the journey of a plant in “Roots ‘n’ Shoots,” and learn about germination, photosynthesis, and more. Study the water cycle on a Water Garden nature walk, or examine pollinators under microscopes, before walking through pollinator-friendly flower beds. Poetry in the Garden is a cross-disciplinary program where groups will read nature sonnets and haikus, before creating their own in their journal.
