Mill Mountain Zoo

Home to cougars, red pandas, wolverines, and more, the Mountain Mill Zoo is an ideal setting for students and scouts to view and learn about wildlife. Tours exploring habitat, animal needs and adaptations are available, as well as tours delving into threatened and endangered species. Zookeepers are regularly available to chat about their animals and how they care for them, and visitors can view animal feeding times. Hop aboard the Zoo Choo train that laps the zoo and provides unique views of Mill Mountain and animal exhibits. Outreach and home school programs are also available.
