Piedmont Park Conservancy

Discover the wonders of nature right in the heart of Atlanta! Groups will take an educational hike, and take part in a science experiment activity during educational programming at Piedmont Park Conservancy. The youngest learners will compare growing up as a human to growing up in the wild, and plant a seed. Groups can visit the garden and orchard and identify, examine, and even taste parts of plants. Explore food webs and adaption on a hike, or examine plants cellular structure under a microscope.  Guided walking tours, scavenger hunts, and self-guided tree tours are also available.
