Cherokee County History & Arts Museum

This museum has exhibits on all things relating to Cherokee County history - such as Native Americans, colonial life, art, textiles, public service, industry, and much more. The Land of Revolutions exhibit displays exhibits on the changes in South Carolina during colonization and the Revolutionary War, and features tools, information on geology, and the story of Fort Thicketty. The Road to Prosperity exhibit teaches groups about the railroads, industrialization, agriculture, and much more. Other permanent exhibit halls are dedicated to military and political service, and people, places, and things from Cherokee County. A scavenger hunt is also available.
