Ruth Patrick Science Education Center

The goal of the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center is to inspire an interest in the fun of discovery, as well as to help students and scouts experience the beauty, power, and order of science and mathematics. Learners will examine, sort, and compare earth materials, analyze and interpret graphs, handle rock specimens, and discover why we have seasons. During a planetarium show, Larry the Cat may take the youngest learners on a trip through space. Older groups will enjoy a journey into the living cell, or learning to identify objects in the sky, and hearing stories about constellations.
