Carrie Murray Nature Center

 
The Carrie Murray Nature Center is located inside the 1216-acre historic Gwynns Falls and Leakin Park, one of the nation’s largest urban parks. The park is home to a variety of wildlife such as as well as hawks, owls, deer, fox, raccoons, beavers, opossums, turtles, and a wide range of songbirds. Explore Baltimore’s diverse natural environment in the meadows, marshlands, springs, and wetlands. Nature programs aim to teach groups about watershed and stream conservation, recycling, plant and tree identification, gardening, proper pet choice and care, birds and insects, and more. Activities include nature hikes and role playing animals to understand predator/prey relationships.
