Spartanburg Science Center

Offers educational programming in many different disciplines. Students and scouts can study the water cycle, learn about plants, geology, genetics, waves, or the physical sciences. They can tour the Center's ocean and geology collections, learning about the Earth's natural processes and life in the wild - as they were millions of years ago, and even today. The StarLab Planetarium programs present them with an interactive, exciting view of the night sky as it changes through time and the seasons. Programs outside the facility are also available, such as turtle viewing at Duncan Park, and pond ecology at Lake Johnson.
