Children's Museum of the Upstate

The Children’s Museum of the Upstate is the seventh-largest children’s museum in the country, and the first of its kind to become a Smithsonian affiliate. With 19 multidisciplinary exhibits and over 100 activities, a field trip here is sure to be one that is remembered! Learners will venture through the dynamic climbing structure, become a construction worker, discover light waves, build and play in the wind tunnel, and more! Field trips can be combined with a hands-on class, where groups will have an opportunity to learn about magnets, study geography, investigate physics, make fossils, and much more.
